Can you see where I did the clumsy editing job here? I took this from my window and my next door neighbor had a big pile of trash in his driveway that showed in the foreground. So I duplicated the snow and covered it!

Today I went cross country skiing. I love that I can walk to go skiing! Sunnycrest park is about three blocks away and when it's not covered in snow it's a golf course. When the snow comes they make trails in it, and there's a ski lodge where they rent skis on weekends. This was my first time cross country skiing ever and I loved it. But I would like to find some place flatter. I did great except for the parts with hills. And there's lots of hills! I don't mind going up the hills but down is very scary and I actually just took my skis off and walked down a few of them.

After shoveling the driveway and then skiing, I was very hungry and made myself a nice piece of salmon and some rice for lunch.

This photo got over a hundred hits on flickr overnight, without me even putting it in a group. My husband took it and I cropped it. I'm thinking that a lot of people probably have their rss feeds set up to get all photos tagged with "nude".

I need a new scanner. The one we have just doesn't scan well. On things where there are subtle gradations of color, it turns them into too few colors and it looks so bad. Thats the main thing keeping me from listing stuff in my store right now.

I didn't get much painting done today, just some writing.

I saw this on a pole in the annex. The text reads:

2 all my sweet neighbors in The Annex, please don't be alarmed - Brendan's just an irresponsible kid who does this sort of thing all the time (rest assured, he's done this before!) Anyway, on Satureday he went to a house party at Jacob's house. It's Sunday afternoon right now and he still hasn't called home to let me know he's ok, and what his plan is, as we promised before he took off. If anyone knowz Jacob's telephone number, pleeze send me e-letter at my website.

(p.s. Brendan, if you're reading this, I'm sorry to embarrass u, but you drove me to it with your irresponsibility. To any of Bren's neighborhood pals reading this, please mind your own beezwax!! This is between a diztressed father and his son. Thanx!)

This is a very odd building I passed on the streetcar the other day. It reads:
Drunk drivers are Lousy Lovers
Sober Drivers "Puck" much better

Drunk drivers
kiss and neck
wet and sloppy

Sober Drivers do not
Slobber and drool

The building looks like a former convienience store, now perhaps someone's house. It's not a store anymore.
